About Savusavu

Savusavu is a town in the Fijian Province of Cakaudrove. The town is located on the south coast of Vanua Levu Island (Second Largest Island) and has a population of 5,372 in the 2017 census. Savusavu is known as “the hidden paradise” of Fiji. It can be reached by plane from Nadi (one hour) or by ferry from Suva or Lautoka (approx 12-hour trip).
Some of the attractions are the Hot Springs, the 19th Century Copra Shed Marina, Deep Sea Diving tours, Yacht Moorings, and the Roman Catholic Chapel built around 1870.
